christian bannister（クリスチャン・バニスター）氏は、subcycle labsに所属するミュージシャン兼デザイナーで、音と映像を直感的に操る研究者としても注目を浴びるアーティストだ。彼はKORGのKAOSS PADのように、スクリーンに映し出された映像を指でこすることで、様々なエフェクト効果やシンセサイズ、ループ加工・編集を行なう映像を公開し、現在、製品化に向けてあらゆる角度から試行錯誤を繰り返しているとのことだ。今後、彼の生み出したアイディアが音楽・映像業界に新風を巻き起こす可能性もあるかもしれない。ぜひともクリスチャンに応援メッセージを！（christian@subcycle.org）
